Folklore often exists in that space between real and imagined. I create my own mythologies with the images I grew up with. This includes the wildlife, landscape, culture, and history of the rural Pennsylvania town that I’ve come to know as home. Through this lens I explore issues dealing with violence, the passage of time and the way we remember history.
